What do you want your family portrait to say about you and your family?
When thinking about the style of portrait you would like, consider the personalities of your family members, what you enjoy doing together and where you are going to display it in your home. If you are a casual family, a very formal traditional portrait may not be your style. Remember, you want this to be a memory of your family as it is today.
Clothing Suggestions:-
Solid colors in the same color tones and long sleeves photograph best
- Wear matching shoes and accessories to complete your outfit
Hair and Make-up Suggestions:-
Clear or neutral colored nails work best
- When styling your hair, choose a comfortable style you know looks good
- Don’t get a last minute haircut. Give your hair a week or so to grow out
- Apply concealer and powder if necessary to minimize blemishes and then stop worrying! With your portrait order your pictures will be retouched to ensure you will look your best.
- Apply make-up before you arrive
- Men should be clean-shaven or facial hair should be carefully groomed.
- Limit sun exposure prior to your portrait session. Burns and tan lines never photograph well
